Terms and Conditions

Last updated: October 18, 2026

These terms are the contract between you and the operator of NeoRole. By creating your account, activating an invitation or using the service, you accept them. If you disagree with any part, do not use NeoRole. Read them together with the Privacy notice, which explains what we do with your data.

1. Who operates NeoRole and how to contact us

1.1. NeoRole is operated by Juan Obando Cortés, an individual, under the trade name Parachute Partners / NeoRole, Mexican tax ID (RFC) OACJ780807J82, domiciled in Mexico City, Mexico. In these terms we call him "NeoRole", "we" or "us".

1.3. We answer general questions within 5 business days at most. Requests about your personal data follow the timelines in the Privacy notice.

2. What NeoRole is

2.1. NeoRole is an AI career copilot to manage a job search: profile, CVs tailored to each job opening, match between your profile and each opening, cover letters, interview simulator (text or voice), tracking of processes and contacts, salary negotiation advice, the Compass self knowledge modules, LinkedIn optimization, job search, the browser extension and NeoCoach.

2.2. NeoCoach is an AI, not a person. It is the support conversation inside NeoRole: it helps you plan, decide and keep your pace. It is not therapy, nor medical, legal or financial advice.

2.3. Human coaches. NeoRole also lets you work with human career coaches, who are independent professionals and not NeoRole employees (clause 7).

2.4. NeoRole is not a placement agency and does not guarantee results. We do not promise interviews, offers or hires. Hiring depends on employers, recruiters and headhunters over whom we have no control. What we do is help you prepare better materials and run your search in an orderly way.

3. Your account

3.1. To use NeoRole you need an account with a valid email or Google sign in. Authentication is operated by Supabase.

3.2. You must be at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to accept this contract.

3.3. The information you provide must be true and up to date. You are responsible for keeping your password safe and for what happens in your account. If you notice access you do not recognize, tell us right away at [email protected].

3.4. The account is personal. Do not share it or resell it.

4. Plans, trials, payments and cancellation

4.1. Annex A. Plans, prices, currencies, billing cycles, trials and usage limits are in Annex A, Plans and Prices, published at /precios. Annex A has a version number and date, and is part of these terms.

4.2. Price that applies to you. The price of the Annex A in force on the day you subscribed applies to you, as long as your subscription stays active without interruption.

4.3. Price changes. If we change Annex A, we notify you by email at least 30 days in advance. The change does not affect what you already paid. If you disagree, you can cancel before the next renewal without penalty.

4.4. Taxes. Annex A prices are shown in the currency of your country and do not include taxes. Taxes are calculated based on your location and you see the total with taxes before confirming the payment.

4.5. Trials. When Annex A offers a trial, it states how many days it lasts, whether it requires a card and what happens when it ends. If the trial requires a card, the charge is made when the trial ends, unless you cancel before from your account, at no cost.

4.6. Payments. Charges are processed by Stripe. NeoRole does not store card numbers or bank details of users.

4.7. Cancellation. You can cancel whenever you want from Settings, Subscription. You keep access until the end of the paid period. We do not refund the remaining time of a period already charged, except as provided in clause 4.8.

4.8. Refund of the first subscription. Within the first 7 calendar days after your first charge, or within the withdrawal period set by the law of your country if longer, you can request a full refund at [email protected], with no usage conditions and no deductions. Voice sessions already used are not refunded; unused ones are refunded together with the subscription. A one time voice pack is refunded within the withdrawal period for the unused sessions.

4.9. Change of cycle. Moving from one billing cycle to another takes effect when the current period ends, with no credit or refund for the difference.

4.10. Plan paid by a company. If a company enrolls you in a support program (for example, outplacement), it can pay for your plan while that program lasts. The company does not see your personal data, only aggregate progress of the group, unless you authorize it (Privacy notice, section 5). When the program ends, your account continues: you keep your data and can view it, and to keep using the AI features you activate Pro.

4.11. Bonuses and courtesy periods. NeoRole may grant courtesy Pro periods. Their length is shown to you when you receive them. When they end, you are not charged anything: you keep your data and can view it, and if you want to keep the AI features, you subscribe to Pro.

5. Referral program

5.1. NeoRole offers a voluntary referral program. You can share your personal link with anyone you want.

5.2. What you receive and what your guest receives, with its requirements, is published at neorole.app/referidos, with the date of its last update. The conditions in force on the day your guest pays for the first time apply.

5.3. NeoRole can change, pause or end the program. We notify you by email at least one month in advance and we respect what you already earned.

5.4. If an account is created to abuse the program, for example to refer yourself or with fake accounts, we suspend it and it loses what it earned through referrals.

6. Invitation codes

6.1. What they are. An invitation code is a key created by NeoRole that, once activated, gives a period of Pro at no cost. It can reach you as a link (neorole.app/codigo/YOURCODE) or in writing.

6.2. What it includes. Before you activate it, the code screen tells you:
a) the plan it includes (Pro in person and coach codes, Recruiter Pro in recruiter codes);
b) how many days it lasts;
c) the date by which you can activate it, if it has a deadline.

6.3. No card and no charge at the end. Activating a code does not ask for a card. When the days end you are not charged anything: you keep your data and can view it. If you want to keep Pro, you must subscribe to it yourself.

6.4. When it starts. The days run from the moment you activate it, not from when you receive the code.

6.5. One invitation per account. Each account can activate only one invitation code in total.

6.6. Who cannot use it. A person code cannot be activated if you already have an active paid subscription or a current bonus, nor from a recruiter account. A recruiter code cannot be activated on an account that already has Recruiter Pro or on a person account with a paid subscription. A coach code cannot be activated from a recruiter account. If you already pay for Pro, activating a coach code does not pause or change your paid subscription.

6.7. Recruiter code. When you activate a recruiter code from a person account, your account becomes a recruiter account permanently. When the days end you lose Recruiter Pro, but the account remains a recruiter account and does not go back to being a person account. The screen warns you before you activate it.

6.8. Coach code. A coach code gives you Pro for the stated days from the moment you activate it. It does not cover the coach monthly fee unless NeoRole confirms so in writing under the Terms for coaches.

6.9. Code limits. A code can have a maximum number of uses and a deadline. NeoRole can deactivate a code you have not activated yet. A code already activated is not withdrawn early, except in the cases of clause 6.10.

6.10. Misuse. The code has no cash value, cannot be exchanged for cash, cannot be sold and cannot be transferred after activation. If we detect multiple accounts, fake accounts or resale of codes, we can cancel the free period and suspend the accounts involved.

6.11. Acceptance. To activate the code you accept these terms and the Privacy notice in force. We keep the date and the version you accepted.

6.12. No raffles. Codes and referrals never depend on luck: there are no raffles, sweepstakes or random prizes. Whoever meets the conditions receives the benefit.

7. Coaches on NeoRole

7.0. This clause applies when the coach program is available in your account.

7.1. It is optional and has no cost. Connecting with a coach costs nothing and does not change your plan. You can have more than one coach at a time, for example one for your career and another for interviews. Each connection has its own authorization.

7.2. How you reach a coach. Through a coach's invitation (link or code) or from the public coach directory. Before the connection exists you see the authorization screen.

7.3. You decide what your coach sees. The coach sees nothing in your account until you authorize it, by category and by coach. You can withdraw the authorization in one click from Settings, Privacy, and access is cut off immediately. The details are in the Privacy notice. Your conversations with NeoCoach, your Compass answers and scores, and your payment data are never shared with a coach.

7.4. Coaches are independent. Each coach provides their services on their own account and under their own responsibility. NeoRole manually validates the identity and credentials the coach submits before they can charge, but does not guarantee a coach's results or answer for their advice.

7.5. NeoCoach and your coach. If you have a human coach, NeoCoach does not contradict in front of you what your coach recommends. If NeoCoach sees something different, it raises it with your coach first. If signs of risk to your wellbeing appear in a conversation, NeoCoach shows you help resources right away. NeoCoach does not share the content of your conversations with your coach.

7.6. Session bookings and payments.
a) The coach sets the price and currency of each session type. When you book you pay that price plus a NeoRole service fee. You see the total, the service fee and the cancellation policy before paying.
b) NeoRole collects the payment through Stripe and holds it until the session is confirmed.
c) The call takes place through the coach's link (Zoom, Meet or another). That tool has its own terms and its own privacy notice.
d) We send you reminders 24 hours and 1 hour before.

7.7. Confirmation. After the session, the coach marks it as done or as "No show". You have 48 hours to confirm it or report a problem from With your coach. If you report nothing within that period, the session is confirmed and the payment is released to the coach. If you report a problem, NeoRole reviews it with both parties before releasing the payment and tells you its decision by email.

7.8. Cancellations. Each coach chooses one of three policies and shows it on their profile and at booking:

Policy

Flexible

Refund of the session price

Full if you cancel up to 24 hours before

Policy

Moderate

Refund of the session price

Full up to 72 hours before; after that, half

Policy

Strict

Refund of the session price

Full up to 7 days before; after that, nothing

If the coach cancels, you always get a full refund, including the service fee. If you cancel, the booking screen tells you before paying whether the service fee is refunded. The policy that applies to you is the one in force when you booked. This does not limit the non waivable rights that the law of your country gives you.

7.9. Monthly support and packages. If you buy monthly support or a session package from a coach, the purchase screen tells you what it includes, the price, the currency and how to cancel. Monthly support can be canceled whenever you want from With your coach and ends at the end of the paid period.

7.10. Reviews. You can only rate a confirmed session held on NeoRole, within 90 days after the session. You choose whether it is published with your name or your initials. The review is public on the coach's profile, and the coach can reply once. You cannot edit it after publishing it. NeoRole can hide reviews that violate clause 12 and records the reason. You can ask for your review to be removed by writing to [email protected].

7.11. Verified results. If you authorize it (the "results" category) and while the connection remains active, your progress counts anonymously and in aggregate in the coach's public record. Names and companies are never published, and it is only shown when the coach has at least 3 clients who authorized it.

7.12. End of the connection. You can end the connection with a coach whenever you want. When it ends, the coach stops seeing your data and you choose whether to keep or delete what you worked on with that coach. Your account and your plan stay the same.

8. AI generated content

8.1. NeoRole uses third party AI models (Anthropic and other providers listed in the Privacy notice) to generate documents, analyses and answers.

8.2. Generated content may contain errors or be outdated. Always review it before using or sending it.

8.3. Generated content is not legal, tax, financial, medical or psychological advice.

8.4. The match analysis and the other scores are support tools. The decision is always yours. You can ask us to have a person review an automated result (Privacy notice, section 12).

8.5. We use our providers' AI services under commercial plans whose conditions, in force when these terms were published, state that they do not use what you send to train their models.

9. Voice sessions

9.1. Voice interview sessions use your device's microphone. Speech recognition is done by the browser (Google in Chrome, Apple in Safari), which may send the audio to its servers under its own conditions. NeoRole does not receive or store your audio; it only receives the text.

9.2. The interviewer's voice is generated with Google Cloud Text-to-Speech. The audio plays in your browser and is not stored.

9.3. Before your first voice session we ask for your express consent. You can withdraw it in Settings; without it, the rest of the product works the same.

10. Gmail integration

10.1. It is optional and only for the Pro plan. By activating it you authorize us to send from your Gmail the follow up messages that you generate and approve in NeoRole.

10.2. We request the minimum permissions: send email (gmail.send) and identify your account (userinfo.email and userinfo.profile). We store the access tokens with access restricted to your account.

10.3. We do not read your incoming email.

10.4. You disconnect it whenever you want in Settings, Integrations, and the tokens are deleted immediately.

10.5. Its use is also subject to Google's policies. If Google changes its rules, the integration may stop being available.

11. Browser extension

11.1. The optional extension for Chrome, Edge and Firefox captures job openings and public data from headhunter profiles on the job portals listed in its manifest, only when you use it.

11.2. The extension is subject to these terms, to the Privacy notice and to the conditions of each portal you visit. You are responsible for using it in accordance with those conditions.

12. Permitted and prohibited use

12.1. You agree not to:
a) share your account or resell access;
b) generate false or misleading content, or content that infringes the rights of others;
c) invent experience, degrees or achievements in documents you will present to an employer;
d) get around the limits of your plan with multiple accounts or other means;
e) use Gmail or NeoRole messages for mass or unsolicited mailings;
f) upload third party data obtained unlawfully;
g) harass, insult or threaten a coach, another user or the NeoRole team;
h) publish fake reviews or reviews in exchange for a benefit;
i) reverse engineer, extract the code or automate use of the service without permission;
j) use the extension to collect data unrelated to your own search;
k) upload malicious code or attack the security of the service;
l) use NeoRole for anything illegal in your country.

12.2. If you breach this clause we can suspend or close your account (clause 18).

13. Your content and license

13.1. What you upload or write on NeoRole is yours: CV, profile, notes and documents. What the AI generates from your data (CVs, cover letters, analyses, guides) is also yours.

13.2. You grant us a worldwide, non exclusive, free license, limited to the time you have an account, to store, process and transform that content only to provide the service to you.

13.3. Information derived from use. With information that no longer identifies you (anonymized), we may:
a) improve the service and its models;
b) produce labor market statistics (for example salaries by role, industry and region, or most requested skills);
c) publish aggregate reports.

13.4. Using anonymized data to train or fine tune our own AI models, or to develop market information products for companies, only happens if you give your additional consent, which you can withdraw at any time by writing to [email protected].

13.5. Your rights over your personal data prevail over any of these uses.

14. Data of other people you record

14.1. You can record data of people who do not use NeoRole, such as headhunters, recruiters and contacts.

14.2. By doing so you declare that you have a legitimate basis to process it (professional relationship or public information) and that you did not obtain it unlawfully.

14.3. We keep it only for your use, we do not sell it and we delete it together with your account. Regarding that data, you decide what it is used for and you are responsible for that use.

15. Visibility to recruiters (NeoRole Connect)

15.1. It is optional and off by default. If you turn it on, recruiters inside NeoRole can see your professional summary, skills, level, target industries and work modality.

15.2. Your name and email are only revealed if you accept a contact invitation. Recruiters never see your salary information.

15.3. You turn it off whenever you want from your profile.

16. Automatic processes

16.1. NeoRole runs scheduled processes to operate the service: follow up suggestions, service emails, plan and session reminders, summary drafts before a session with your coach, and counter resets.

16.2. None of them makes decisions with legal effects on you. You can object to emails that are not essential from the unsubscribe link or by writing to [email protected].

17. NeoRole intellectual property

17.1. The NeoRole brand, design, code, prompts and documentation belong to NeoRole. These terms give you no rights over them beyond using the service.

17.2. If you send us suggestions, we may use them with no obligation to pay.

18. Suspension and account closure

18.1. You can close your account whenever you want from Settings, Security.

18.2. We can suspend or close your account if you breach these terms, if there is a fraud or security risk, or if the law requires it. Except in urgent cases, we notify you first and give you a chance to explain. If the cause is not a breach by you, we refund the proportional part of the paid period.

18.3. When the account is closed, your data is handled as described in the Privacy notice.

19. NeoRole access to your account

19.1. Authorized NeoRole staff can view account data only for support, fraud prevention, security and legal compliance, under a duty of confidentiality and only as needed.

19.2. To solve problems in the coach program, NeoRole can open a support view of a coach's account: read only, with a recorded reason and for a limited time, 30 minutes per entry unless the case requires more, and never more than 2 hours. If something of yours that you authorized to that coach is viewed in that view, the access appears in your Privacy history marked as made by NeoRole (support). Details are in the Privacy notice, section 7.

20. Limitation of liability

20.1. To the extent permitted by law, NeoRole is not liable for indirect damages, such as lost job opportunities or harm to your professional reputation from using generated content without reviewing it.

20.2. To the extent permitted by law, our total liability to you is limited to what you paid NeoRole in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.

20.3. These limits do not apply to damages caused with intent or gross negligence, nor to the rights that the consumer protection law of your country does not allow to be limited.

20.4. The service is provided subject to availability. We do what is reasonable for it to work without interruptions, but we do not guarantee it. Integrations with third parties depend on their own rules.

21. Changes to the service and to these terms

21.1. We can change or stop offering parts of the service. If the change removes something you paid for, we notify you at least 30 days in advance, except in case of force majeure or legal mandate. If we shut down the service, we refund the unused part of your subscription.

21.2. These terms have versions. If a change is important, we notify you by email at least 15 days in advance and ask you to accept it when you sign in. If you do not accept it, you can close your account or cancel without penalty before it applies. If the change is not important, we only notify you.

21.3. We keep the version you accepted and the date.

22. Governing law and jurisdiction

22.1. These terms are governed by the laws of Mexico. For any dispute, the parties submit to the competent courts of Mexico City, without prejudice to the jurisdiction of the Federal Consumer Protection Agency (Profeco).

22.2. If you live in another country, you keep the rights that the consumer protection and data protection laws of that country give you, and you can go to its authorities. In particular:
a) Colombia: Law 1480 of 2011 (Consumer Statute), including the right of withdrawal in distance sales, and Law 1581 of 2012. Authority: Superintendence of Industry and Commerce.
b) Brazil: Consumer Protection Code (Law 8.078/1990) and LGPD (Law 13.709/2018).
c) European Union, United Kingdom, Switzerland and California: the privacy rules described in the Privacy notice.

22.3. If a clause is found invalid, the rest remains in force.

23. Language

These terms are published in Spanish, English and Portuguese. If there are differences, the Spanish version prevails, unless the law of your country requires otherwise.
